Quick answer

LCL lets you ship Bali furniture in a shared container and pay per cubic metre — USD 350–450 per CBM to Australia and USD 400–550 to the USA and EU as of 2026 — with no minimum beyond a single CBM.

What LCL furniture shipping means

Your furniture travels in a shared container rather than one booked for you alone. After showroom pickup, pieces move to a consolidation warehouse near Denpasar, are crated to standard, then load beside other buyers' goods bound for the same port.

Because you are not renting the whole box, the entry point is low: shipping starts from 1 CBM — roughly one large armchair with a side table, or a compact carved cabinet.

We are an independent shipping concierge, not a carrier or licensed customs broker. Ocean freight, consolidation and clearance run through vetted licensed forwarders.

LCL cost per cubic metre

Door-to-door bands. A multi-piece load is simply its CBM count times the band.

Bali → Australia USD 350–450 4–8 weeks 1 CBM
Bali → USA USD 400–550 6–12 weeks 1 CBM
Bali → EU USD 400–550 6–12 weeks 1 CBM

Indicative as of 2026; the trade desk confirms pickup zone, packing and destination delivery on every quote.

Worked example

What a typical load costs

Pricing is volumetric: measure each crated piece, total the cubic metres, multiply by your destination's band.

  • A 2.4 CBM load — a daybed and two chairs, crated — to Melbourne: about USD 840–1,080 door-to-door.
  • The same load to Los Angeles: about USD 960–1,320.

From August 2025 the US de minimis exemption for Indonesia was suspended, so every commercial shipment to the USA now incurs duties and customs processing, LCL or full container.

When LCL beats a full container

Below roughly 6–10 CBM, sharing almost always costs less. Above it, a 20ft can win per piece.

FCL figures are an Indonesia–USA reference lane. The desk models both against your measurements before you commit.

Compliance

Crating and ISPM-15 on a shared load

Wood-packaging rules apply even to a single CBM. Under the IPPC/FAO ISPM-15 standard, solid-wood packaging thicker than 6 mm must be debarked, heat-treated to a 56 °C core for 30 minutes or fumigated with methyl bromide, then marked on two opposing faces.

Australia, the USA and the EU all apply it. Crating and consolidation are handled around Kerobokan and Denpasar, with photo-proof packing before anything is sealed.
